TASHWIN CLAASEN is a choreographer, teacher and creative, based in Cape Town, South Africa.

• He is a Qualified TDA (Theatre Dance Association) Hip Hop Teacher, since 2017.
• In 2017 he received 1 Bronze, 2 Silver and 2 Gold Medals at SACOPA (South African Championships of Performing Arts) and qualified to represent SA in LA.
• He competed with his students on ‘Dans in jou taal’ which aired on KykNet television in 2017. They’ve placed 1st in two categories.
• He has been part of the recreation of the TDA (Theatre Dance Association) Syllabus.
• He has choreographed for SPAR Supermarket inspired by the “Jerusalema Dance Challenge” which went viral in 2020.
• He also has been in numerous TVC’s, National and International.
• He has choreographed for numerous shows and productions.

Tashwin is currently teaching at various dance studios and schools in the Western Cape and continues to pass on the knowledge and skills he’s acquired.
