MUSICAL THEATRE

The intention of producing a well-rounded stage and/or film performer with outstanding poise and confidence. The training provided will equip students as entrepreneurs in their field as well as for auditions and a career as a performer.

PNXGLOBAL is affiliated with the internationally accredited Trinity College London.

PNXGLOBAL provides a personalised programme to train and develop individuals in their area of strength and this includes music, vocals, dance and acting on stage.

PNXGLOBAL offers assistance to obtain Qualifications in Performance, accredited by Trinity College London.

This industry, and this course, is not for the faint-hearted. The prospective student should be able to produce creative work within a high-stress environment while keeping to a tight schedule. The student should be able to work long hours and under pressure. The candidate must have the ambition, drive and determination to create their own work, attend auditions & relentlessly market their own skills in the industry.

Performing Arts Gap Year (1-Year)

Musical Theatre Based

Necessary Elements:

  • Music (voice, piano and sight-singing,)
  • Drama/Acting (History, Technique, Improv)
  • Dance (Ballet, Modern/Jazz, HipHop)

Subsidiary Elements:

Workshops in Music, Dance and Drama, Stagecraft, Industry Insight, Audition Techniques, Acting for Film, Song writing, Videography, Make Up.

Practical Look:

  • 5-6 days a week. Allows for things to be spread out evenly.
  • Create space for group classes
  • Create space for individual work
  • Research of musical theatre
  • Qualification Optional
