Desmond Trevor Williams, age 25 was born in the Western Cape of South Africa and resides in Eerste River Stratford as a freelance Guitarist, Accompanist, composer and arranger as well as a music teacher in Music Theory, Guitar, Saxophone, Recorder and may other instruments.
Music was part of his family tradition, and from an early age became a self-taught Musician. Eventually after Matriculating, he worked at Department of Health as an Assistant Administrator but soon after knew that he had a passion for music. Thereafter in 2013, he applied and auditioned at Cape Music Institution (CMI) in Athlone under the likings of Musical Genius Camillo Lombard.
After (CMI) in 2015, Desmond was accepted at Stellenbosch University’s Accelerated Music Certificate Programme as a Classical Guitarist under the likings of Felicia Lesch and soon Enrolled for The Diploma in Music Performance Course at Stellenbosch University and Graduated from the University in 2018. During his years of studies he taught music to unfortunate children in his community at many different organisation and schools in his community such as Community Women Action and Spurwing Primary School and Jamestown Sound as well as tutoring Certificate Students at Stellenbosch University.
Desmond has worked alongside artists such as, Camillo Lombord, Glory Bosman, Kurt Egelhof, Natalia Da Rocha, Wayne Mckay, Amy Jones and many others. As a performer he has been performing as the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre , Artscape, Stellenbosch Conservatorium Endler Hall, Lord Charles Hotel, Cape Sun Hotel, President Hotel, District 6 Museum and Cape Town City Hall, Cape Town International Convention Centre and much More. Desmond Is also the acclaimed Founder and Director of Graded Music Entertainment (Pty) Ltd.
